FMRP Selected for the BHSF West Kendall Project

October 2010

For the new West Kendall Project, Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) engaged MGE Architects in Coral Gables to weave together innovations in technology, design, and cancer care in creating uplifting, patient-centered spaces that contribute to a sense of community. Situated on a 30-acre property adjacent to the proposed Kendall Town Center development, the hospital supports a vision of West Kendall as a convenient central hub where area residents can live, work and play.

Florida Metal Roofing Products, Inc. supplied 26,180 SF of our 24 Gauge Barrel Style Metal Tile in a custom color embossed panel. With sustainability and uplift performance being major factors, our Miami-Dade County Product Approval with a 204.5 PSF design pressure was a perfect fit for this project. The facility has earned LEED Gold certification for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design and is built to withstand a Category 5 (180 mph) hurricane.

Installation was provided by Therma Seal Roofing Systems, Inc. in West Palm Beach, FL.

FMRP Was the Perfect Choice for the Re-roof at The Villas of Pinecrest

August 2008

Florida Metal Roofing Products, Inc. supplied 15,880 SF of our 24 Gauge Barrel Style Metal Tile in a Colonial Red Kynar 500 panel.

Our ability to change the distance between the tile steps made our Metal Tile Roofing System the perfect choice for this re-roof application. We supplied panels with a tile step from 11-5/8″ to 12-1/2″, eliminating the need for field cutting the panel at each of the window openings. Each of the 8 buildings had slightly different requirements and installation was completed by Therma Seal Roofing in West Palm Beach, FL.
