The original roof was concrete tile which required constant maintenance and repair. The City of West Palm Beach engaged the architectural firm of Song + Associates and General Contracting by The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for the project.
Florida Metal Roofing Products, Inc. supplied 11,100 SF of our 24 Gauge Barrel Style Metal Tile in a Terra Cotta Kynar 500 panel. With sustainability and uplift performance being major factors, our Miami-Dade County Product Approval with a 204.5 PSF design pressure was a perfect fit for this project.
Installation was completed by Altec Roofing in Jupiter, FL.
