The Sebring Airport Authority was looking to replace the existing concrete tile roof on their Airport Terminal and it was important to maintain the original look of the facility. The existing roof had been leaking and was a continued maintenance issue for years.
Michael Willingham of the Sebring Airport Authority reached out to FMRP because of our panel’s aesthetics and extremely high design pressures of -204.5 PSF.
Installation was challenging due to inherent structural and construction deficiencies uncovered during the tear-off. Roof consulting and project management was provided by Atkins Global.
Florida Metal Roofing Products, Inc. supplied 29,000 SF of our 24 Gauge Barrel Style Metal Tile in a Valspar Sherwin-Williams Kynar 500 Fluropon Paint System in a Terra Cotta color. Installation was provided by Advanced Roofing in Sanford, FL.
