Florida Metal Roofing Products, Inc. provided our 24 Gauge Barrel Style Metal Tile for St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud, FL in 2018. Much like St. Patrick’s Church, the original concrete tile roof on the campus had been leaking for years. This is another example of concrete tile under preforming in Florida’s harsh environment. The Classic Clay Tile look, Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, and Uplift Resistance are some of the benefits of Barrel Tile Roofing System.
The project was completed in two phases. The initial phase included 42,750 Square Feet of Colonial Red Metal Tile for the Office, Gym, and School roofs. This phase was completed in August 2018 by R.F. Lusa & Sons Sheetmetal, Inc. in Lakeland.
The second phase included 29,045 Square Feet of Colonial Red Metal Tile for the Sanctuary and Parish Hall roofs. This phase was completed in October 2019 by Couch Roofing and Waterproofing, Inc. Palm Bay, FL.
