Testimonial From St. Thomas, USVI

St. Thomas, USVI home with barrel style roof

The minute I saw my friends roof, I was convinced that I finally found the roofing material that I had been dreaming of. I immediately contacted my friend and got Danny’s number for Florida Metal Roofing Products, Inc. and called him directly.

I was pleasantly surprised at the ease and efficiency in which I was able to negotiate a deal with Danny to get my Terra Cotta style roofing. Even more amazing was the affordable cost and speed in manufacturing and delivering the product to me in St. Thomas, VI. Danny took his time and patiently walked me through the process and assisted me greatly in measuring, detailing, and costing out each and every item. He even accompanied me by phone on my rooftop to make sure my measurements and angles were perfect,

The result was the delivery of a beautiful, durable, and exceptional roofing material that all my neighbors now want for their homes. And because of the accurate measurements, I have minimal waste. Everything fits perfectly and I am extremely pleased.

Hallo Dani

Just a short feedback.

We are back on the island. The roof is finished. It looks good and we are very happy with it. Photos will
follow soon.

I want to thank you for your exceptional service. You assisted us throughout this process and were also
willing to help us with all sorts of unrelated issues while we were stuck in the US due to Covid-19.

I spoke to René at length about the condition and state of the boxes. Not only did everything arrive in
good condition, the boxes were packed in an organized fashion, the instructions included were clear and
there were more than ample screws and the other add-on’s included.

We are all impressed. I can honestly say that the experience with you and your company stands out!

Kind regards

Testimonial from Dominica

In 2009, FMRP supplied their 24 Gauge Metal Tile Roofing System (Terra Cotta) for the private residence of Dominica’s Prime Minister, the Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit.

Dominica experienced Hurricane Irma on September 4, 2017 and took a direct hit from Hurricane Maria on September 18, 2017 as a Category 5 with winds of 160 MPH.  The Primer Minister spent the night at one of his residences in the capitol of Roseau.  That night he posted on Facebook “My roof is gone, I am at the complete mercy of the hurricane. House is flooding”.

The strength of our system is truly evident when facing the potential of tragic devastation. We are pleased to report that his primary residence remained uncompromised while only sustaining minimal damage due to flying debris.

Good Evening We are doing well.  The roofing system we purchased from you and had installed held up without any damage during our last devastating Hurricane Dorian.  We have had many inquiries about our roof and have been recommending your business.
Have a great evening.

I am an Architect and builder in the British Virgin Islands for over 20 years and I have been using the Barrel Style Metal Tile Roofing System from FMRP for over 15 years. Not only does this product give the look and feel of a classic tile roof, it gives you better security.

In the Virgin Islands we experienced one of the worst hurricanes in the Atlantic ever on record in 2017, in actuality we were hit with two category 5 hurricanes just two weeks apart. All of the 24 Gauge FMRP roofs performed extremely well in these conditions, in fact we had some that looked like no storms passed in our country.

I would always use this product.

Sincerely,

Testimonial from St. Croix, USVI

Worked out great! Here is a great story:

In October 2008, I lost part of my roof to hurricane Omar, a Cat 1 Storm. The house sits on a hilltop with 360 degrees of views. It was exposed to high gusts from all sides.

Years later, in 2017, a renovation and addition to the home was mostly done. The FMRP roof was installed in August. Then on September 6, 2017 hurricane Irma a cat 5 hurricane with wind gusts of 180 mph made landfall in st. Thomas. My home in St. Croix, which is 40 miles away from St. Thomas experienced major hurricane force winds and rain. Luckily, No damage. I was very happy about that! But my joy did not last very long, because 12 days later Hurricane Maria another cat 5 storm made landfall on St. Croix. This time my island did not fare so well. Devastation across the immense. 85 percent of the structures we damaged or destroyed, including the hospital, 6 public schools, most public housing, even the shelters were damaged. Power was knocked out for more than three months. GOD BLESS FEMA!

My friend, as the storm approached, I took my family to the downstairs apartment which is the most secure part of the house. Through out the night, we could hear the roaring and howling of the winds, sounded like 100 airliners at full blast in the total darkness of the night. Finally, morning came and the worst has passed. I walked out in the to assess the damage, I was relieved to see the roof was intact! 100% no damage.
